Equine Explorations
EQUINE EXPLORATIONS™

“Trust only movement. Life happens at the level of events, not of words. Trust movement.” - Alfred Adler

Equine Explorations is a collaborative venture of equine-integrated psychotherapy (EIP) and equine-integrated learning (EIL), joining the expertise of a licensed psychotherapist and an equine specialist located in Tucson, Arizona.

EIP is an effective therapeutic approach that can serve as primary treatment or as an adjunct to a client's ongoing therapy. Regarded as experiential therapy, EIP allows clients to learn by doing, thereby providing the opportunity to put into practice some new ways of thinking. Equine-interactive psychotherapy can have a powerful impact on clients presenting a range of issues, including addiction and co-addiction, childhood sexual abuse, PTSD, grief & loss, anxiety & depression, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties.

EIL is a learning-centered experiential education process. This innovative approach is used to assist children, adolescents, and adults in learning about themselves, developing tools and strategies for making good choices, facilitating new insights and awareness, developing problem-solving skills, communicating more effectively, and improving confidence. EIL is also utilized by organizations and companies to improve relationships, build leadership skills, solve problems, resolve conflicts, create collaborative environments, communicate effectively.
